A small group of parents from across all year groups has worked with the school to set up a brand-new PTA called Friends of Fortismere! The school hasn’t had a PTA for years, and we’re really excited to see that change.  

The Friends are all set up and registered with the Charity Commission, the committee and constitution are in place and work has taken place to shape the vision. The goal is to bring parents and carers together, run fantastic fundraising events, and help strengthen the school community for the benefit of all pupils. 

At the launch event on the 11th March it was great to see so many parents and to hear so much energy and enthusiasm.  Ideas flowed and everyone agreed that an ambitious, exciting Summer Fair in July 2025 would be the perfect way to kickstart the work of the Friends. There are going to be lots of ways for parents and carers to take part and no one will be asked to take on anything alone - everything will have the support of the Committee.  If you would like to know more, get involved in some way or just register your interest, then please email friendsoffortismere.org.uk
