Deputy Head of Year (Non-Teaching)

The Co-headteachers are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to work with the Head of Year with the pastoral care of our students. The successful post holder will be knowledgeable, resourceful, energetic, and self-motivated, friendly and demonstrate a professional manner in our busy school environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to be one of our new non-teaching Pastoral Support Managers working with a range of colleagues and supporting students in a year group. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, it is essential therefore that the successful candidate is able to work under pressure, have a high level of personal drive, energy, and resilience together with relevant experience.

The successful candidate will possess:

LINC - Teaching Assistant

Fortismere School is looking to appoint a LINC Lead TA. This is an exciting opportunity to join our large and diverse SEND department. The successful candidate will support the leadership and implementation of our Literacy or Numeracy strategy and provision to support students with special and additional needs to overcome barriers to learning. This an exciting opportunity to be part of the operations team working closely with the Director of Operations and Facilities Manager. You will need to ensure that the schools buildings, site, and furnishings are safe, secure, and maintained to Health and Safety standards.

As a Site Assistant, you will also need to ensure the opening and closing of the school buildings, which will be managed on a rotational basis by the Site Manager between yourself and three other Site Assistant, so you must be flexible as hours could change to accommodate the needs of the school.
